I have drawn pictures all my life. My mother brought paper from school and I covered the backs of her pupils' work with the narratives that went through my head.

I remember the first oil painting I did when I was about 9, with my father selecting raw umber, yellow ochre, light red , viridian green, cerulean blue, ivory black and titanium white for my palette.
